What happens if it’s rained recently?
We reschedule for the next available dry day rather than mow a soaked, clay-soil yard, which risks compacting the soil and tearing up the grass.
Do you bag or mulch the clippings?
In most cases we mulch clippings back into the lawn to return nutrients to the soil. If growth is heavy enough that clippings would mat and smother the grass, we bag instead.
