What to Expect From a Visit
What’s included in a standard mow?
Mowing at the right height for St. Augustine grass, edging along walkways and driveways, string trimming around obstacles, and blowing clippings off hard surfaces so your yard looks finished, not just cut.
How often should my lawn be mowed in Lafayette?
During peak growing season — roughly April through October — weekly is typical for St. Augustine grass. In the cooler months, bi-weekly usually keeps pace with slower growth.
Do you bag clippings or leave them?
In most cases we mulch clippings back into the lawn, which returns nutrients to the soil. If growth is heavy enough that clippings would mat and smother the grass, we’ll bag instead.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day?

Why does my St. Augustine grass turn brown in patches?

How much rain is actually too much for St. Augustine grass?
